VRCS Goals
K-3 Literacy
The 2019 Provincial Assessment and school based data will demonstrate an increase in the percentage of students in grades K-3 meeting expectations for reading from 81% to 88% as measured on the provincial data.
4-9 Literacy
The 2019 Provincial Assessment and school based data will demonstrate an increase in the percentage of students in grades 4-6 meeting expectations for writing from 38% to 64% as measured on the provincial data on the PLA; and our grades 7-9 will improve from 74% to 88% as measured on the ELA.
4-9 Numeracy
The 2019 Provincial Assessment and school based data will demonstrate an increase in the percentage of students in grades 4-6 meeting expectations for math from 56% to 80% as measured on the provincial data on the PMA; and our grades 7-9 will improve from 79% to 88% as measured on the EMA.
